This project is a visceral chronicle of navigating internal transformation amid sudden rupture. The series emerged as a lifeline—a way to survive a traumatic period where my meticulously structured life collapsed in 2022. When multiple anchors dissolved at once, leaving plans shattered and existence adrift, creating these works became the only means to release emotions, confront emptiness, and rebuild my surroundings and personhood.
I worked impulsively, guided by instinct rather than intention. Photographs—shot on film, Polaroid, or captured digitally—were printed hastily on office paper, then layered with handwritten texts scrawled in marker during sleepless nights. Magazine clippings, tape, and packaging fragments were glued chaotically, mirroring the storm inside of me. There were no references or research; this was raw dialogue between my unconscious and the prints.
